About the Position

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company that is growing and transforming, is looking for a strong leader to take charge of a strategic production unit in welding.

This role is key: your mission will be to structure, stabilize, and improve operational performance in a critical sector.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the operations management, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your unit.

On a daily basis, you will:

Manage production operations across multiple shifts
Guide and mobilize a team of supervisors and team leaders
Optimize production flows and eliminate inefficiencies
Identify and resolve bottlenecks
Implement and monitor performance KPIs
Structure management routines (field follow-ups, priorities, cadence)
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects
Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance

Requirements:

Strong experience in manufacturing production management
Experience in a metal/welding environment (a significant asset)
Experience in managing multi-shift operations
Strong expertise in continuous improvement (Lean, flow optimization)

Excellent priority and performance management

Assets:

Training in engineering or a related field
Experience in implementing KPIs and dashboards
Experience in transformation or operational turnaround
